Chanel Resort 2012 Collection
The Chanel 2012 Resort Collection consisted of several palettes from soft yellow, lavender and creme then worked it’s way into black and white bathing suits. The silhouette was slim fitted with hemlines ending at or above the knee and full length dresses. Karl Lagerfeld said the collection was inspired by was inspired by Rita Hayworth (actress) and Aly Khan the late racehorse owner and jockey.
Chanel Fall 2011 Paris Fashion Week
For fall 2011 Karl Lagerfeld based the collection on menswear and had a palette of black , grey and white. The backdrop of the show resembled the aftermath of volcanic activity with black and grey rocks and white steam. The classic Chanel pieces tweed jackets in a variation of styles , while the trouser pants were cuffed at the bottom.

A few days ago I posted photos of Sessilee Lopez for H&M . Here is a full look at the H&M sustainable Style Spring 2011 Campaign which also features Baptiste Giabiconi, Hind Sahli , Roza Gough and several adorable little children. The sustainable collection was made from recycled polyester, organic cotton, and Tencel®. “You don’t have to give up on fashion by using more sustainable fabrics these days,” says H&M’s Head of Design, Ann-Sofie Johansson. “The clothes are like a vitamin injection to kick-start Spring.”
