This morning Prince William son of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana announced his engagement to Kate Middleton at St James’s Palace on November 16, 2010 in London, England. The two have been together for 8 years and became engaged on a private vacation in Kenya last month. The wedding date has not been set yet but will take place next year during the Spring or Summer. Now the battle begins for who will design Kate Middleton’s wedding dress.
“It’s my mother’s engagement ring, so of course it’s very special to me, and Kate’s now very special to me, so it was only right to put the two together,” he said Tuesday.
